DOM element data removal.
Description
The jQuery.removeData()
jQuery Data utility method, removes the specified data that was previously stored with the jQuery.data()
method.
Shorthand version $.removeData()
- The
jQuery.removeData()
method is a low-level method which we are showing for completeness. - We suggest using the
.removeData()
method instead.
Syntax

jQuery.removeData( element [, name] ) | Remove the specified data that was previously stored, optionally passing the name of the data. |
